Another 2021/22 grain season ended on June 30. According to its results, as of July 1 this year 48 508 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops were exported from Ukraine. This is reported by the ProAgro Group with reference to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 3.79 million tons more than during the previous season 2020/21.
Wheat shipments ended the season at 18,741 thousand tons, which is 2,102 thousand tons more than in 2020/21. Barley shipments abroad totaled 5,752 thousand tons, an increase of 1,522 thousand tons. Rye was exported in the amount of 161.5 thousand tons against 18.4 thousand tons in the previous season. Exports of corn reached 23 535 thousand tons, 458 thousand tons more than in the previous season.
In addition, 70.9 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 69.4 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported, which is 56 thousand tons less than the corresponding figure of the previous season.
