Agricultural producers of the Odesa region were the first in Ukraine to reap the summer fields. The harvesting of winter barley has started in Izmail region, “ProAgro Group” reports with reference to the information of the regional state administration.
In general, 1 061 thousand hectares of winter crops are to be harvested this year in the Odesa region. In particular, agrarians have to thresh 551 thousand hectares of winter wheat, 244 thousand hectares of winter barley, 50 thousand hectares of spring barley and 190 thousand hectares of rape.
