Latvia will help Ukraine with grain exports through its ports

During the working visit of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi to the Latvian Republic at the end of last week, he got acquainted with the port and logistics infrastructure of Latvia and discussed the possibilities of export of Ukrainian agricultural products through the Latvian ports.

Earlier, Latvian President Egils Levits noted that Latvia could help Ukraine to export grain through its ports, and also said that the leaders of the Baltic states and Poland fully supported granting Ukraine candidate status for EU membership and taking this decision in an expedited procedure.
