Morocco has changed the sanitary certificate for imports of coarse grains

The Moroccan National Authority for Food Safety (ONSSA) has published a new sample health certificate for the import of simple unprocessed plant products intended to feed animals (barley, feed wheat, corn, etc.). The change of the certificate is a result of the bird flu epidemic in the country.

This is stated in a letter from the Moroccan National Federation of Grain and Legume Traders to the Ukrainian Grain Association, ProAgro Group reports.

In particular, the certificate must confirm that the grain is grown in an area that is at least 10 km. away from the territory where the outbreak of avian influenza was detected.

Information about the updated certificate is important to avoid blocking exports to Morocco.
