Queen Elizabeth launches a line of ketchup and sauces

Queen Elizabeth has launched a line of sauces under her personal brand, particularly tomato ketchup and a brown sauce reminiscent of steak sauce.

All of the ingredients are grown on the British monarch’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, ProAgro Group reports, citing People.

Ketchup from Sandringham is described as “perfect for breakfast or any time of day.” The ketchup is flavored with dates, apple juice and spices, and the brown sauce contains vinegar and spices.” The cost per bottle is about $9.

The publication notes that the Queen is a big fan of burgers, though, according to former royal chef Darren McGrady, she prefers a bunless burger, which is usually eaten with a knife and fork and is topped with cranberry sauce rather than ketchup.

This is not the first product to be branded by the royal family. In 2020, for example, Buckingham Palace released gin, the ingredients for which are grown in the garden of Buckingham Palace, as well as gin, the ingredients for which are grown at Sandringham Manor.
