Ukraine called on the world to preserve the Black Sea “grain corridor”

It is necessary to use the maximum public and diplomatic pressure on Moscow, demanding to preserve the functioning of the Black Sea “grain corridor” in November and in the future. This was called for by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in his speech at yesterday’s meeting of the UN Security Council, “ProAgro Group” reports with reference to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Today the Black Sea Grain Initiative is under threat. Russian officials question the effectiveness of the “grain corridor” and may be preparing to disrupt the initiative after the agreed 120 days in November,” he said.

The Ukrainian minister stressed that Russian President Putin is lying, claiming that most of the grain through this “corridor” went to Europe. In fact, two-thirds of Ukrainian grain was sent to consumers in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

“We must not allow Russia to resume its hunger games with the world. Together we must protect the vital grain initiative,” stressed Dmytro Kuleba.
