As of June 17, Ukraine has exported 47,794 tons of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is nearly 4.4 million tons more than last season.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 18,646 thousand tons, which is 2,379 thousand tons more than in 2020/21 MY. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 5,737 thousand tons, an increase of 1,591 thousand tons. There were also exported 161.5 thousand tons of rye against 12.6 thousand tons in the previous season. Deliveries of corn abroad amounted to 22 940 thousand tons, which is 644 thousand tons more than the previous season.
In addition, 69.6 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 68.2 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 51.1 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
