Ukraine offers Lebanon to buy grain stolen by Russia

Ukraine has made an offer to Lebanon to buy Ukrainian grain and flour. The issue has to do with the grain, which Russia stole from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and tried to take to Syria. A ship with stolen goods was detained in Lebanon, and now Kyiv offers Beirut to officially buy this grain from Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon, reports ProAgro Group.

The embassy stressed that Lebanon can officially buy from Ukraine grain and flour, which were found on the detained Russian ship. The occupants tried to take this stolen grain and flour from Ukraine to Syria.

According to the embassy, they are ready to sell the grain and flour to Beirut so that they do not stand idle in the Lebanese port and deteriorate.

Moreover, Ukraine offers Lebanon to buy grain and flour at half the market price – $350 per ton of flour and $180 per ton of barley.
