Ukraine is a world leader in oil exports, but this does not mean that the country’s potential is unfolded. In the next 10 years the Ukrainian market of vegetable oils will continue to develop actively, including niche production.
This opinion was expressed by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka, reports ProAgro Group.
“In the first 8 months of 2021, Ukraine exported $4.1 billion worth of oil and fat industry products, which is 11% more than the same period last year. Ukraine has a competitive advantage – oil producers are characterized by high productivity, despite such external factors as energy prices, logistics, peculiarities of the climate and taxation system. At the same time business efficiency allows to win this competition. Internal reforms on the part of the state can also help them in this,” noted Kachka.
