Piryatyn Creamery of the Molochniy Alliance group of companies has sent a letter to its commercial partners warning them that starting from January 1, 2022, the company will have to partially fulfill its orders for the supply of products, followed by the cessation of production.
The main reason for stopping production is the high price of gas, ProAgro Group reports, citing Economist.
“We understand that the situation that has developed in the energy market of Ukraine is caused by a complex of resource, technological, political and economic reasons, both objective and subjective in nature. But the cost of gas today is more than 10 times higher than last year”, – says a letter of the general director of the plant Volodymyr Bartoshak to the contractors.
After the financial and economic situation stabilizes, the Piriatyn Cheese Plant promises to restore business relations with its partners and resume supplies of products.
