Agrotrade Group will increase the volume of grain storage in bags up to 100 thousand tons. This decision was made in connection with the difficulties with the export of grain faced by agricultural producers due to the Russian invasion, ProAgro Group reports with reference to a post on the company’s Facebook page.
“Storage of grain in bags has always been relevant during the period of intensive grain harvesting and slow shipment. This issue becomes especially relevant during corn harvesting, because during this period the elevators are already filled with early grains, soybeans and sunflower,” said Konstantin Vorona, director of the production and technical department of Agrotrade.
Usually during the season the group stored 50-60 thousand tons at different elevators. This year the company will increase this figure due to the significant remnants of grain last year, which were not shipped due to the war.
