The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has abolished the need to return the funds received by farmers under the program of state support for the construction of grain elevators, if these assets were destroyed as a result of military action caused by the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

The government passed a resolution to this effect at a meeting on August 27, but its text appeared on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers on August 30.
It is specified that an enterprise or an agricultural producer shall not be obliged to reimburse the budget funds received by it within the frame of state assistance, if it can document the fact of their destruction. To do this, the farmer must be in possession of a duly drawn up document on the inspection of the facility damaged as a result of military aggression of the Russian Federation.
Agrarians are exempted from the return of state aid as a result of Russian aggression if it is impossible to use for its intended purpose the facility and/or facility for storage and processing of grain, the cost of which was partially compensated, due to the loss, destruction or damage of such facility.
