Out of all elevators of “Prometey” GC, there are 8 elevators on the territory where it is dangerous for business now. Despite this fact, the company management is more likely to leave their capacities than to work with the occupants.
ProAgro Group reports that Raphael Goroyan, the owner and chairman of the supervisory board of Prometey, told this in an interview with Latifundist.com about the company’s work during the war.
According to him, in Mykolayiv region the occupants attacked two offices of Prometey production companies in the village of Pisky and Agro Capital Center in the village of Dobra Krynitsa, Bashtanka district. As a result, agricultural and office equipment was destroyed, documentation, weighing and monitoring systems were destroyed – and this is by no means a complete list of the losses incurred. In addition, the warehouses of these two companies were damaged.
“By the way, when the AFU recaptured these territories, our employees were able to steal two tanks and a Kamaz truck from the occupiers. They hid them and, when the territories became free, handed over this asset worth several million dollars to the Ukrainian military,” Rafael Goroyan commented.
It is reported that there are 8 elevators out of the 33 elevators of the Prometey company in the territory where it is now dangerous for business to operate.
“When the first shock passed and we realized that a real war had begun, we put the business on a military regime and organized a powerful guard at the elevators. It was a fortunate decision to quickly get involved and land a security team at the elevators. If we hadn’t done that, it would have been a much more pitiable story in potentially dangerous areas,” says Rafael Goroyan.
