Within the framework of the first stage of the program of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the distribution of humanitarian aid in the form of temporary grain storage facilities, 1497 recipients of grain sleeves with a capacity of 200 tons each have been identified, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the information of the ministry.
“Recipients who submitted applications through the State Agrarian Register can check the lists on the website of the digital platform, as well as find out the address of the warehouse for receiving assistance, the number of sleeves and get acquainted with how the issuance procedure takes place,” the ministry informed.
Applications for sleeves were accepted until October 30, 2022. The assistance is free of charge.
As reported, on October 27, Chernihiv farmers were the first to receive 262 grain bags, which arrived in Ukraine within the framework of the joint program of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Subsequently, farmers will also be provided with sets of equipment for loading and unloading grain.
