This season Ukraine will need single-use and mobile granaries with the total capacity up to 20 mln tons for storing crops, thanks to the state-private partnership the necessary equipment has already been contracted.
However, the purchase of alternative granaries by Ukraine has exhausted their stocks in the world market. This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solsky, “ProAgro Group” informs with reference to “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“Ukraine may have taken all the disposable systems for storing crops, which are now available on the world market, mainly go to Ukraine. Therefore, the Ukrainian market and the state have hedged, and I hope that there will be no special problems with the storage of crops,” Solsky said during the all-Ukrainian telethon.
At the same time, Ukrainian agribusinesses privately purchased most of the crop storage facilities.
