Yesterday afternoon as a result of a missile strike in the Chigirin territorial community of Cherkasy region there were two explosions. This was reported by the Chairman of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Igor Taburets in his Telegram channel, informs “ProAgro Group”.
“The enemy hit the agricultural enterprise. Agricultural equipment was destroyed and the few livestock were damaged,” he wrote.
Rescuers were working at the scene of the explosions. No human casualties were reported.
According to the command of the Air Force of the AFU, around 3:20 p.m. on July 16, strategic bombers TU-95MS Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on Ukraine from the Caspian Sea area. The enemy fired six X-101 range missiles. Four of the missiles were destroyed by anti-aircraft defenses in the Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The remaining two hit an agricultural enterprise in Cherkasy region. The cost of one missile of this type is about $16 million.
