Ukraine is working with the UN and Turkey and the recipient countries of Ukrainian agricultural products to prevent Russia from disrupting the prolongation of the “grain deal”.
According to ProAgro Group, this was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“Not now, but closer to the end of the grain deal in November, we will see Russia’s attempts to question this agreement and disrupt its continuation. To this end, we are already working with all key players, with the UN, with Turkey as facilitators of this agreement, and with the countries receiving our agricultural products in order to prevent this disruption,” the Minister said.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Kremlin Putin during the Eastern Economic Forum last week announced his intention to discuss with Turkish President Recep Erdogan the restriction of grain exports from Ukraine, as it goes not to the poorest countries, but to the European Union. And Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Nebenzia explained that Moscow does not want to continue the grain agreement, as it did not benefit from this agreement.
