In the sector of dairy cattle breeding the share of milk produced on an industrial basis is increasing, which provides an increase in the quality of raw milk, reports “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
It is noted that in 2021 the share by agricultural enterprises was 31.5%, which is 2% more compared to the previous year.
The most milk of all types was produced in such regions:
Poltava – 691.8 thousand tons;
Vinnitsa – 684,9 thousand tons;
Khmelnitsky – 643,8 thousand tons.
The leaders in industrial milk production were:
Poltava region – 391.4 thousand tons;
Cherkassy region – 296.4 thousand tons;
Kharkiv region – 245.8 thousand tons.
