The first family dairy farm in the region was opened in the Kurylivtsi village of Zhmerynka city territorial community of Vinnitsya oblast. This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Oblast State Administration.
“First of all, this is not only a significant event for the region, this is an example of the development of agricultural business in communities. This experience will show how to learn effective farming, create a quality product, earn money in their villages and achieve success in Ukraine, forming dream communities, and live happily in them. I wish further development not only in the production of raw milk, but also in the creation of their own processing facilities for the production of craft milk products”, – said the director of the Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development Volodymyr Merezhko.
He noted that the implementation of such projects will promote the development of small agrarian entrepreneurship in the dairy sector and attract more households to the organized sector of the agrarian market.
In June 2021, a Memorandum of Cooperation with the “Family Dairy Farms in Ukraine” Project was signed in the Vinnytsia Oblast State Administration. In the framework of cooperation, agreements on creation of such family dairy farms have been signed with 5 more small entrepreneurs of Vinnitsa region.
