The number of applications under the budget support program through the State Agrarian Register (DAR) has doubled over the past week. Currently, 6 554 farmers are already participants in the program, funded by the European Union, reports “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Under the first direction of the program – subsidy per 1 hectare of cultivated agricultural land – 5,569 agricultural producers have applied, under the second direction – subsidy for cows – 985 farmers have applied.
Under the terms of the program, non-refundable assistance can be received by farmers who have 1 to 120 hectares of agricultural land or keep 3 to 100 cows. The former can receive UAH 3100 per hectare of cultivated agricultural land, but not more than UAH 372 thousand. The latter – UAH 5300 for each cow owned by the recipient, but not more than UAH 530 thousand.
The Ministry draws attention to the fact that the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the program in both directions is November 15, 2022.
