The average wage in the agricultural sector increased by 20.5%

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine for 2021 the average monthly salary of full-time employees in agriculture increased by 20.5% compared to the level of 2020. This is reported by “ProAgo Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

It is noted that there was also an increase in the average monthly salary of full-time employees in the production of food, beverages and tobacco products by 15.7% compared to the level in 2020.

In December 2021 the average salary of full-time worker in agriculture increased by 12.2% compared with November and amounted to 14 466 UAH. In the regional context, the highest level of average wages was observed in Lviv, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Vinnitsa and Zhytomyr regions.

Average salary of full-time employees in the manufacture of food, beverages and tobacco products in December 2021 amounted to UAH 14,474, which is 9% more than in the previous month. The highest level of average salary was observed in Kiev, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Poltava regions.
