Ukraine and Armenia agree to deepen cooperation in the agricultural sector

On November 2, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Arman Hojoyan, ProAgro Group reports referring to the press service of the Ministry.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues, in particular reforming the land market, cattle breeding and cattle identification processes, as well as the prospects for bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Also within the framework of the working visit, the Armenian delegation visited one of Ukraine’s leading enterprises, LLC Kischentsi (Dobra village, Umansky district, Cherkasy oblast), which is engaged in cattle breeding, crop farming, cultivation of grain and industrial crops, and met with the representatives of the Association of Milk Producers.

In particular, during the meeting, the representatives of the Republic of Armenia were introduced to the industrial capacities of the dairy industry and the main technological processes of the enterprise.

In addition, during the visit the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Arman Hojoyan plans to visit the World Food Ukraine 2021 exhibition, Ukraine’s largest exhibition of food and beverages.
