Agrarians of Rivne summed up the achievements of 2021 and set the directions for 2022. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the press service of the Rivne Oblast State Administration.
“Quite a good year for the agrarians of the Rivne region. First, we have a record harvest of grain – about 1 million 650 thousand tons. This is the maximum figure for the years of independence of Ukraine. Also this year, farmers expect 109 million hryvnias of state support. And it is 40% more than last year. With these funds we have reconstructed livestock farms, purchased a number of breeding animals, implemented measures to increase the number of bee-hives, “- said the chairman of Rivne Oblast State Administration Vitaly Koval.
According to the director of agroindustrial development department of Oblast State Administration Nadiya Perekhodko, the number of applications from farmers to participate in state support programs is increasing annually. This indicates the growth of confidence in the authorities.
“At the moment more than 800 agrarian enterprises work in Rivne region, a quarter of them have applied for one or several types of state support. It is not an easy business, it is not always possible to foresee all factors. But with joint efforts the region shows good results”, – added Perekhodko.
