“Ascet Shipping” moves its production facilities to the West of Ukraine and plans to organize grain export logistics from Ukraine through the ports of the Danube River and the EU countries. ProAgro Group reports this, citing the company’s information on Facebook.

“We have decided to relocate the business to western Ukraine and are already completing the processes of moving the production base and employees. We plan to cooperate with the grain elevators of Western Ukraine and Europe and send goods by railway and automobile transport to the ports of European countries,” – noted the owner of the company Kateryna Rusina.

She pointed out that under current conditions, revival of grain export and creation of new logistic streams are matters of economic security of Ukraine.

“We are working on this and doing our best to establish new export routes and prove that Ukraine is capable of being one of the leading participants in the world agricultural market even in times of war,” Rusina added.

“Ascet Shipping is a group of companies, a major port operator in the Ukrainian grain forwarding market. Before the war it had branches in Berdyansk, Mariupol and Kherson ports. The company also has branches in Mykolayiv and Odesa ports.
