Britain will allocate money to repair the Ukrainian railroad

The UK will allocate 10m pounds sterling to repair the Ukrainian railway infrastructure for grain exports and 1.5m pounds sterling to develop a system that determines whether grain sold by Russia has been illegally exported from Ukraine.

This is reported on the website of the British government, ProAgro Group reports with reference to Liga.Novosti.

The British government says that in addition to blocking grain shipments from Ukraine via the Black Sea, Russian attacks also disrupt rail exports. To prevent this, Britain will provide Ukrzaliznytsia with up to 10 million pounds sterling in materials and equipment to repair railway infrastructure and help take grain out of the country by rail.

The British government also notes that “russia is stealing grain from Ukraine, smuggling it across the border to sell it and replenish the military coffers of russian dictator Vladimir Putin. To address this problem, Britain will allocate £1.5 million to develop a system that determines whether the grain Russia sells on the world market has been illegally exported from Ukraine.
