The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has held a meeting of the working group for rapid resolution of logistics issues in agriculture, where, among other things, the prospects for a draft law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences concerning the elimination of discrimination against consignors for violating the requirements of weight control” were discussed.
According to “ProAgro Group”, the first deputy minister Taras Vysotsky noted that the Ministry of Agriculture supports the bill and expressed hope that the Verkhovna Rada will consider it next plenary week.
“In case this draft law is adopted as a basis, we will take the initiative to organize a separate dialogue on the basis of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure and the profile subcommittee. It will be logical to involve representatives of the logistics staff into the process of discussing the wording for the second reading,” said Taras Vysotsky.
In turn, a representative of the Directorate of Railway Transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure Elena Garkavenko expressed an optimistic forecast of the draft law “On Railway Transport of Ukraine” and its adoption in the first reading in the early second quarter of this year. Now the bill is at the final stage – there is a work on working out proposals from business. In the nearest future it will be presented to the public for discussion.
