Recently opened in the Hungarian city of Feneshlitke near the border with Ukraine, the multimodal terminal can receive up to 10 thousand tons of Ukrainian grain per day.

This was announced by a member of the board of East-West Intermodal Logistics Plc. Adam Talosi during an online meeting of the railways of Ukraine and Hungary on October 25, reports “ProAgro Group” with reference to Rail.insider.

“We will support that the number of trains transferred at the border was greater. The terminal has started its work. The movement of containers between Ukraine and Hungary has already started, and from November we will also accept bulk and bulk cargo. We will be able to transship 5-10 thousand tons of grain per day from wide gauge cars to European gauge cars,” he said.

Thus, the terminal will be the largest in terms of capacity, located near the Ukrainian border. Adam Talosi added that the company has an M62 locomotive for wide gauge.

According to the data of Ukrainian railway workers, announced during the meeting, the terminal has already received one train of 26 cars, now 48 more units of rolling stock are heading towards the enterprise, and it is planned to supply cars from the border station Epereşki by the locomotive of the Hungarian national operator MAV.
