Continental Farmers Group has started the first wave of reaping with winter barley, which was sowed on 11.4 thousand hectares. Next, winter rape and wheat will be harvested. The sowed area under these crops is 34,600 and 40,100 hectares respectively. It is planned to harvest a total of 86.2 thousand hectares during the summer harvest, “ProAgro Group” reports with the reference to the company.
The agrarian producer notes that the current harvesting campaign has started as planned. Weather conditions, which accompany it, are favorable.
“We have begun the harvest, which, without exaggeration, is of paramount importance not only for our company, but also for the country. It certainly will not be easy for all farmers. Our team has been working hard and preparing for this period. Logistics, supply of resources, preparation of storage capacity and a number of other issues that we solved in advance, so that now we will not stop and promptly collect the bread. During the harvest, 113 combine harvesters will be working in Continental’s fields. After the grain harvest, the company will immediately cultivate the soil for the following crops.
