Grain trading group “Prometey” has signed an export contract for the sale of 25 thousand tons of food wheat, which became possible thanks to the opening of sea ports of Ukraine and the creation of a safe “grain corridor”. ProAgro Group was informed about this by the company’s press service.
According to the contract, the bulk carrier will arrive in the territorial waters of Ukraine in 2-3 weeks to load the agricultural products. After the inspection in the middle of September, the dry cargo will leave the port of Chernomorsk to its destination.

However, it is already a victory on the front of global food security, in the structure of which Ukrainian agricultural companies play an important role. Another important component of the launch of the “grain corridor” is a tendency to improve the situation on the domestic agricultural market”, – the company stressed.
Prometey also stressed that it would take months to send a similar volume of cargo by rail or road.
“We are in constant contact with our clients and analyze the best offers. The signed contract gives us grounds for optimistic forecasts and the possibility to set the initial export plan at the level of 70-80 thousand tons per month,” – the company said.
