Optimus Agro Trade Ltd. has reported that it is completely impossible to fulfill its obligations under the grain storage contracts due to the interference with the legitimate economic activities of the company, the establishment of the occupation administration in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhia and Kherson regions and the direct capture of certain complexes of buildings and structures (granaries) by the armed formations of the aggressor state. This is stated in the official report of the company, reports ProAgro Group.
It is noted that during March-May 2022 the company was trying to do everything possible to ensure the normal operation of its grain warehouses on the non-controlled territories. But now due to the interference of the occupation administration and, sometimes, armed formations, the company objectively can no longer ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations to the tenants and implementation of its management decisions.
“Optimus Agro Trade Limited Liability Company terminates its economic activity in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region and Kherson region,” the company stated.
In particular, the cessation of operations concerns the grain warehouses of Akimovske, Troyanovske, Rozovske, Verhnyotokmatske (Zaporizhia region) and Sirogozhske and Kachkarovske (Kherson region) production-structure subdivisions of Optimus Agro Trade.
