In the first six months of 2021 the land market size totaled 5.3 billion UAH, which landowners received from the sale of land.
This was stated by the expert of the Center for Research on Food and Land Management of the Kyiv School of Economics Roman Neiter, reports “ProAgro Group”, citing the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Compared with November, the volume of land market in the last month of 2021 increased by the number of purchase and sale transactions, as well as by land in circulation by about 30%.
In December, for the first time in 6 months from the launch of the market, the daily number of transactions exceeded a thousand, such figures were observed 5 times during December. In addition, 6 times in December, the daily area of land in circulation exceeded 2500 hectares.
According to Roman Neiter, the absolute record was recorded on December 23 – almost 1200 transactions and more than 3 thousand hectares of land sold.
He also noted that the structure of transactions from month to month is already stable: the largest number of transactions is with land for personal agriculture (32.6 thousand transactions).
