Due to the occupation of some territories the military administration of Zaporizhzhia region has no full picture of the sowing campaign, except Zaporizhzhia district. This was told during a meeting with the heads of territorial communities by the head of the plant growing and rural development department of the Zaporozhye region OVA Olexandr Yasinetsky, “ProAgro Group” reports.
Now it is known that 470 hectares of peas and 15 hectares of barley were sown in the region as of March 30. Also more than 800 hectares of winter crops have been sown in the region, which must first of all be preserved. Alexander Yasinetsky noted that this year the agrarians had better pay attention to less energy consuming crops.
Fuel supply is an important issue during the sowing season. Its delivery to certain areas can be problematic. The Ministry of Energy will deal with this issue, as the agency noted. Fuel will be delivered to different locations and reports about it will be sent directly to each entity.
At the same time, the Zaporizhzhya Defense Forces report that the actions of the Rashist troops on the territory of the region threaten to disrupt the sowing season. For example, in the city of Gulyaypole, the actions of the Russian military destroyed the agricultural equipment of one of the enterprises that was to begin spring field work.
