During the year bread prices in Ukraine increased by a quarter and by the beginning of 2022 prices may rise by 10% more.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Association of Bakers, informs ProAgro Group.
” During the fall enterprises, affiliated with the Ukrainian Association of Bakers, increased the prices of bakery products by 7-10%. By the end of the year their cost could rise by 5-10% more,” said UAB president Yuriy Dudchenko.
According to him, the prices of bread will rise in the future, which is associated with an overall global trend of rising demand and prices of food, especially grain, sugar and oil, yeast, higher wages, cost of materials, energy and due to inflation.
Today bakers have an urgent need for additional price revisions. The increase will be gradual, but not in multiples.
