Grain prices in Ukraine are relatively stable – the market continues to celebrate

According to the data of ProAgro Group monitoring, domestic grain prices in Ukraine in the first post-New Year’s days remain mostly at the level of the end of last year. Many traders and exporters, as well as domestic processors do not work yet, so their purchase prices have not been updated.

Nevertheless, minimal market activity is still tracked. Thus, yesterday, January 3, the indicative domestic trader NIBULON announced new prices, but they have not changed compared with those announced during the last week of the previous year.

So, at its sea terminal in Mykolaiv the company is buying food wheat at UAH 9200-9250 per ton, feed wheat – at UAH 8600 per ton, barley – at UAH 8150 per ton, maize – at UAH 7850 per ton.

Company G.R.Agro has not changed its prices. The trader is now buying food wheat at UAH 8400-8550 / ton at its elevators in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, feed wheat – at UAH 7950-8000 / ton, maize – at UAH 6700-7000 / ton.

At the same time, today Astarta-Kyiv has updated its prices. They have grown by 50 UAH/ton at the elevators of the company, and by 100 UAH/ton at the ports “Yuzhniy”, “Chornomorsk” and “Nika-Tera” as compared to the pre-New Year’s prices. This applies, in particular, to the wheat of 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes, as well as corn.
