KSG Agro Holding started building up a strategic three-month reserve of raw materials for the production of mixed fodders at its own feed mill. The purpose of this step is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the pig complex, taking into account the risk of interruptions in the supply of feed ingredients due to the temporary disruption of logistics chains under wartime conditions, ProAgro Group reports citing the holding.
In particular, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KSG Agro Sergiy Kasyanov noted that Cargill, the supplier of premixes for mixed fodder production, additionally increased the shipment limits in order to meet the set task.
Sergiy Kasyanov informed that now the feed mill works with maximum load. If he used to work in one shift with a daily output of 100 tons of feed, now he worked in two shifts with a daily output of more than 200 tons.
