Law enforcers have exposed the illegal activities of officials of one of the bread factories. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to information from the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine.
Pre-trial investigation established that officials of the enterprise embezzled flour, cereal waste and bran from the territory of the plant and storage area of the enterprise. The total value of the damage caused reaches 4 million hryvnias.
“Based on the evidence obtained, the investigators of the Bureau of economic security reported the suspicion of the head of the state enterprise and the head of the structural subdivision of the state enterprise. Their actions are qualified under part 5 of article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – informed in police.
For embezzlement, misappropriation of property or seizure by abuse of authority is subject to imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and with confiscation of property.
