Tajikistan is interested in importing agricultural machinery and participation of Ukrainian companies in the construction of a number of plants, ProAgro Group reports, citing information from the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
In particular, Tajikistan is looking for Ukrainian partners for projects in the sectors of energy and agricultural machinery. A number of priorities has been already fixed in the minutes of the sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Tajik commission, which was held in October 2021.
Ukrainian side already supplies equipment for sugar beet and cane processing, vegetable drying and canning to Tajikistan. Ukrmashstroy proposes the construction of plants for growing and processing of poultry and vegetables.
“Ukraine supplies agricultural machinery to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, therefore, we could consider setting up production in Tajikistan with appropriate localization,” the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs said.
