The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that provides for the return to the system of registration of lease rights for agricultural land plots, which was in force during the introduction of martial law.
The corresponding bill (reg. No. 7636) was supported in the second reading by 246 people’s deputies, reports “ProAgro Group” with reference to Ukrinform.
As stated in the explanatory note to the document, the law establishes the requirement to enter into the State Land Cadastre information on the quality characteristics of land, measures to protect land and soil, restrictions on land use. It also restores land auctions for the transfer of agricultural land plots of state and communal property for use.
The document obliges land users, whose rights to use agricultural land are registered by district military administrations in the relevant books of registration, to enter these data in the State Register of Real Property Rights.
It has been established that citizens and legal entities, who received the right to permanent use of state and communal land before 2002, but in accordance with the Land Code cannot be subjects of such right, may buy such land by installments.
