Ukraine exported almost 10 million tons of agricultural products through the “grain corridor”

The “grain agreement” is valid despite Russia’s withdrawal from it. Thus, for two days, 17 vessels passed through the humanitarian corridor in both directions, 2 of them – to Ukrainian ports for loading, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the post of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine on Facebook.

In particular, today 3 more vessels with 85 thousand tons of agricultural products for Africa and Europe left the ports of Chornomorsk and Yuzhny. Among them are bulk carrier BOMUSTAFA O with 22.8 thousand tons of wheat for Libya and NIMET TORLAK with 12.6 thousand tons of meal for Morocco.

In turn, Ukrainian ports received two tankers loaded with oil for Jordan and Romania.

Due to the fact that the UN and Turkey increased the number of inspection teams to 10, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) on October 31 inspected 46 vessels with 1.7 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products, which have already left for the ports of destination. The queue of vessels in the Bosporus awaiting inspection has been reduced to 147 vessels both outbound and inbound.

In total, 422 vessels have exported almost 10 million tons of agricultural products during the 3 months of the Grain Initiative. This volume could have been 30-40% higher if Russia had not blocked inspections in the Bosporus.
