Ukraine has dramatically increased the export of fruits, berries and nuts to Germany in the first three quarters of 2021, compared to previous years. ProAgro Group reports this, citing east-fruit.com.
“Ukraine’s revenue from fruit and berry exports to Germany in January-September 2021 was $15.7 million, up 71% from 2020 and an all-time record. Ukraine received the main revenue from the export of frozen raspberries, which increased by 3.3 times to $5.7 million. The second position in the export was also taken by berries, though wild – export of frozen wild blueberries and other wild crops to Germany from Ukraine increased by 82% in 2020 to $5.5 million, “- states the report.
In addition to Germany, Ukraine in the first 9 months of 2021 increased exports of nuts, berries and fruits also on the markets of other EU countries, in particular Poland (by 85%), France (by 22%), the Netherlands (by 86%), Italy (by 70%), Austria (by 35%), Lithuania (by 95%).
