FruitBank, an agro-processing park, is being created in Mostiska municipality in Lviv region. The project provides for the formation of added value to the products of small and medium-sized producers of Lviv region and is implemented with state budget funds received from the European Union, as well as with the co-financing of the Lviv Oblast and Mostyska City Councils.
This was reported by the deputy chairman of the Lviv Oblast Council Yuriy Kholod on his page on Facebook, reports “ProAgo Group.
The total cost of the park is 22.5 million UAH, of which 5.1 million has already been financed from the regional budget in 2021. For Lviv region it is the first processing enterprise of municipal property, which will produce quality product with added value from small local producers – farms and private farms. These will be jams, dried fruits and the like.
“Today at the site completed all civil works, purchased the main part of the technological equipment for the production of jams, line for washing, cleaning and drying vegetables, infrared drying chamber for the production of fruit chips and drying vegetables and herbs, also purchased a cargo van for transportation of products,” – said the official.
