Ukroliyaprodukt actively responds to trends in the field of green energy, renewable resources and environmental protection. One of the steps in this direction was the launch of a sunflower husk granulation plant, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the manufacturer’s information on Facebook.
“In 2020, we launched a new line of husk granulation and cake expansion. Granular husk is a type of biofuel, the popularity of which is growing every year. After all, the humidity of such fuel is only 9%, and, for example, dried firewood – 20%. Also, the advantages of granular husk fuel are low ash content, which has a rate of 3%. The granulation process itself allows to reduce emissions of solid particles into the environment, which contributes to the improvement of the ecological situation within the sanitary protection zone of the enterprise”, – explained the director of Ukroliyaprodukt Oleksiy Hryhorenko.
Concern for the environment is not a “nice word”, as almost a third of the plant’s employees in the town of Zinkiv in the Poltava region live near production. Therefore, like no other, they care about safety and environmental protection.
